LSD-N9 Nano particle size analyzer

Based on the principle of dynamic light scattering, the sample is dispersed in an automatically temperature-controlled sample cell. A high-purity laser irradiates the sample, and an optical fiber positioned at a 90° angle to the laser collects the fluctuating dynamic signals of scattered light intensity caused by the Brownian motion of particles over time. A photomultiplier tube transmits the high-fidelity dynamic signals to a correlator, which performs autocorrelation computations to generate the sample’s autocorrelation curve. By applying mathematical methods, the particle diffusion coefficient is derived, and the Stokes-Einstein equation is further utilized to obtain the particle size distribution results.
LSD-N9 Nano Laser Particle Size Analyzer is widely used for particle characterization of organic/inorganic nanoparticles, emulsions, polymers, micelles, viral antibodies, proteins, and other samples. It also enables the detection and analysis of sample system stability and particle aggregation tendencies.
