Two roll mill is an open batch mixing equipment for plastic and rubber materials that compose of two parallel rollers with an adjustable gap between the rollers. It is main function is to knead and plasticize the uniformly mixed raw and provide the calender with a uniformly mixed and plasticized molten material. During the mixing process, two roll mill mainly relies on two relatively rotating rollers to squeeze and shear the raw materials. After many times of kneading and mixing, with the chemical action, the macromolecular chains inside the raw materials are interrupted, making the various components inside the raw material mixed evenly to achieve the purpose of rubber mixing.
For different products, the types of two roll mill that need to be used are also different. Plastic products must use electric heating two roll mill. Rubber products must use water-cooled two roll mill.
